YS INTERNATIONAL MUSIC ACADEMY IN VIENNA
Eleven Young Scholars from the U.S., England, Spain, and China came together in Vienna for two unforgettable weeks of music, learning, and discovery at the summer session of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
Mornings were filled with classes led by esteemed faculty and special seminars in piano technique, composition, and improvisation. Afternoons brought chamber music studies and collaboration, while evenings came alive with concert performances and opportunities to experience music throughout the city.
Beyond their studies, the Young Scholars explored Vienna—the City of Music—with visits to Mozart’s home, the interactive Haus der Musik, and the magnificent Musikverein Wien. It was an inspiring two weeks of artistic growth, new friendships, and shared experiences in one of the world’s great musical capitals.
