Young Scholars Piano Academy, Cleveland
Following the launch of our Global Piano Academy in Beijing, LLIMF held its second residency of the year at the Cleveland Institute of Music from June 8 through June 13, 2025.
This intensive week brought 13 Young Scholars back together for another round of high-level training, collaboration, and musical growth. Daily masterclasses and lessons were led by an outstanding faculty, including Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Dr. Daria Robotkina, and Dr. Ilya Itin, each offering deep insight into artistry, sound, and interpretation.
Cleveland has become a home for our Piano Academy — a place where young artists from around the world return each year to grow, connect, and be inspired. In addition to their studies and performances, our Scholars participated in a special outreach initiative at Cuyahoga Community College, where they engaged with local children through interactive performances, dance classes, and individual music lessons. These moments of connection reflect the heart of our mission: to share music with all communities, and to inspire the next generation of young dreamers.
The Cleveland residency is a key part of the Global Piano Academy’s multi-year journey, nurturing not only exceptional pianists, but a vibrant community of future cultural ambassadors.
