Lang Lang at Boston Arts Academy
On Friday, September 20, 2024, LLIMF hosted a special event at the Boston Arts Academy, uniting over 400 students from their Keys of Inspiration program.
The highlight of the event was a performance by internationally renowned pianist Lang Lang, who was joined on stage by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu for a memorable piano duet.
Following the performance, both Lang Lang and Mayor Wu engaged in a Q&A session with the students, discussing their personal connections to music and the significance of music education.

The Lang Lang International Music Foundation’s Keys of Inspiration program aims to integrate music education into public schools by providing piano labs, curriculum support, and teacher training. In Boston, the program has partnered with several public schools, including the Boston Arts Academy, to enhance students’ musical experiences.
This event underscored the Foundation’s commitment to fostering a love for music among young learners and highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Foundation and local leaders to promote arts education in the community.
