Celebrating KOI with Boston Public Schools

On April 14th, in partnership with the Boston Public Schools Arts Department, we hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a brand-new Keys of Inspiration Piano Lab at The Mario Umana Academy in East Boston.

Students, families, and staff were treated to a performance from LLIMF Young Scholar, Ryan Wang, as well as performances from two Mario Umana Academy students who will continue their piano studies next year at Boston Arts Academy and Boston Latin School! Special thanks to our partners at BPS and the incredible students and staff at Umana; particularly, their fabulous music teacher, Miss Virginia Lopez. The Piano Lab at the Mario Umana Academy is the ninth lab of its kind across Boston Schools.
