Community Piano Labs
The Lang Lang International Music Foundation is dedicated to giving back to communities in need through the transformative power of music. In addition to our flagship programs, Keys of Inspiration and the Young Scholars Program, we are committed to breaking down barriers and expanding access to music education by establishing Community Piano Labs in libraries, learning centers, and other inclusive spaces, ensuring that music reaches individuals of all backgrounds and abilities.
The Keys of Inspiration Piano Award
With the generous support of our donors, the LLIMF Keys of Inspiration Award has provided thousands of keyboards to the Foundation’s most dedicated Keys of Inspiration students across the country. This award empowers young musicians to reach their full musical potential by awarding them with a personal keyboard to continue their piano studies at home.
As of 2025, the Foundation has donated over 3,000 personal keyboards to Title 1 elementary school students.
