Young Scholars Program

As part of the collaboration, the Foundation sends Young Scholars along with selected applicants to the Oxford Philomusica Piano Festival and Summer Academy.

Now in its 16th year, the Piano Festival and Summer Academy has positioned itself as one of the leading establishments for learning from top-tier musicians and teachers alike. The demand for places and keenness of students to return year after year reflects the festival’s profile in the international music community, media and beyond.

This year, Jess Larsen, Charlie Liu, Jonathan Yun Yang, Derek Wang and Johnson Li Zhongxin will join Oxford Philomusica Piano Festival and Summer Academy.

Intended for students to learn from each other, the festival cultivates an atmosphere with a balance of intensive study and relaxation, discouraging unhealthy competition amongst students.
