The Donald Tober Piano Fund For Scholars

With the generous support of LLIMF Patron Mrs. Barbara Tober, in memory of her husband, Donald Tober, we proudly announce the formation of The Donald Tober Piano Fund For Scholars.

The Tober Fund will be used to support the LLIMF Alumni of the Young Scholars program. The purpose of this annual grant is to allow alumni to develop, improve and enhance their musical skills by funding essential areas of their growing careers.

The Lang Lang International Music Foundation will establish an objective, non-discriminatory application and reviewing process for awarding grant requests for Young Scholars Alumni who meet the requested criteria for funding.

The Donald Tober Piano Fund for Scholars covers the following areas that include:

• tuition fees
• travel and entry fees to Festivals and Competition
• purchasing an instrument and musical equipment
• music lessons
• upgrading a piano
• piano maintenance fees
• recording studio rentals
• practice room rentals
