June 3, 2013 – Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium
Lang Lang gave a special one-night only concert, hosted by Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award-winning entertainer Alec Baldwin, at Carnegie Hall in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. The concert featured Lang Lang’s friends, Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell, Grammy Award-winning soprano Renée Fleming, nine-time Grammy Award winning recording artist John Legend, and Danish singer-songwriter Oh Land in special guest appearances. The concert also featured the Young Scholars of the Foundation, Jess Larsen, Kate Xington Lee (李欣潼), Johnson Li Zhongxin, Charlie Liu, Jonathan Yun Yang (杨隽) and Derek Wang as well as surprise guest appearance by the Young People’s Chorus of New York City.
The concert was completely SOLD OUT with a full house for the post-concert dinner.
