“Music education opens doors that help children pass from school into the world around them – a world of work, culture, intellectual activity, and human involvement. The future of our nation depends on providing our children with a complete education that includes music.”– Gerald Ford, Former President of the United States
Boston Arts Academy (BAA) is Boston’s only public high school for the visual and performing arts, serving over 440 students who reflect the diversity of Boston’s neighborhoods. It was founded to make the arts accessible to urban students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue serious artistic studies.
At Boston Arts Academy, the new Lang Lang Piano Lab is used in several ways. All 169 music majors utilize the Lab during their Musicianship and Music Theory classes. This gives each student the opportunity to develop basic keyboarding skills which will assist them in their musical studies.
Keys of Inspiration has enabled the students of BAA to thrive in their musical journeys, preparing them for a bright future.
