Touched and inspired by the sound of a violin at the age of two, Kristina Malinauskaite followed her passion for music with studies of piano, clarinet and voice.She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance and a minor in Technical Theater from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Kristina also studied piano and theory at Mannes College of Music pre-college division while majoring in Voice at F.H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Ms. Malinauskaite’s diverse professional background includes positions such as Fundraising Representative at The Metropolitan Opera, Administrative Assistant and Audition Coordinator at The Martina Arroyo Foundation Inc., Executive Intern experience at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and Assistant Stage Manager and House Manager at MidTangent Productions. A performer at heart, she has performed with many opera companies in New York such as the Amore Opera, dell’Arte Opera Ensemble, Bronx Opera Company, The Martina Arroyo Foundation, and New York Soloist Ensemble.
Ms. Malinauskaite strongly believes in the extreme importance of music education and is thrilled to be a part of a organization that touches young people’s lives.
